Preach Kit ("we," "us," "our") operates the website preachkit.com and the Preach Kit application. We provide AI-powered tools that help pastors and churches repurpose sermon content for broader distribution.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed by our identity provider, Clerk).
- Church profile: Church name, denomination, branding preferences (logo, colors).
- Sermon content: Audio/video recordings, sermon notes, presentation slides, and transcripts you upload for processing.
- Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and session duration.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Cookies: Essential cookies for authentication and session management. See Section 8 for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- To process sermon recordings and generate content outputs (blog posts, social media content, devotionals, etc.).
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
- To detect, prevent, and address security issues and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Process Sermon Content
Sermon recordings and notes you upload are processed using third-party AI services (Anthropic for content generation, Deepgram for transcription). Your content is:
- Sent to these providers solely for processing and is not used to train their AI models.
- Stored temporarily during processing and retained in our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) for your continued access.
- Deletable at your request — you may delete any sermon and its generated outputs at any time.
We do not sell, license, or distribute your sermon content to third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following service providers as necessary:

6. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion.
- Sermon content: Retained until you delete it or close your account.
- Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
- Server logs: Retained for 90 days.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled.
- Functional cookies: Remember your preferences (e.g., church branding settings).
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not participate in ad networks or sell data to advertisers.

- Delete your account and associated data.

- Data transfers:Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and rely on our service providers' compliance frameworks to ensure adequate protection.
